I've never been an Oklahoma fan, but I'm pulling hard for OU the rest of the way. They have 2 losses but both non-conference, so they're still in control of their own destiny to win Big 12...if their defense can stop anyone.

Yeah, hopefully they can beat WV in Morgantown. It will be tough, but I think they do it.

Ok, so what move did LF do immediately after he scored his first touch down at Tiger Stadium. Hint it wasn't the running man, shopping trolley or the Moon walk.

He was also an 18 year old kid at that point. Maturity comes as you get older and wiser. Dreams get bigger also. He's way more of a team first guy at this point.

The playoffs are still very much alive if LSU wins out and Auburn drops another SEC game (still have road games vs Ole Miss and Alabama). As long as the Big 12 champion isn't undefeated, LSU should be able to get in as a 2 loss SEC champ, especially considering the end of season strength of schedule and turnaround under new coach.

That's nice and all but we should be undefeated right now.

Les Miles toss-dived LF7 out of the heisman.

Miles had the greatest weapon in college football and constantly ran him into a 9 and 10 man box.

The hyperbole is a bit much. All 3 TD runs were against 8 men in the box. 2 of the 3 came out of the I formation, the other was a single back look with two TEs.

Miles didn't hurt Fournette's stats, but his philosophy lost too many games last year for Fournette to win the Heisman.

It's incredible to me that, even after last season, Miles just could not understand that he needed to make a few changes. Have someone handle logistics issues to get the play to the line faster & things like that, and get in a balanced OC & let him do his job.

If he could have just done those 2 things he'd still be the coach today.

If we win out we're in the playoff still.

A couple of ankle injuries caused Fournette to fall out of the Heisman race up to now. That's it. But if he can stay healthy and continue to have big games, especially in November, everything can change.

Miles absolutely cost him a Heisman. Possibly two.

Not on purpose, but he definitely cost him through his horrible play calling.

If Fournette goes over 150 against Bama, he is absolutely back in the Heisman race.

I can't wait until we beat Bama and all of these type threads will actually be justified.

Yes he did IMO.

Agree. Stubbornness and unwilling to change period. With a respectable passing offense there is no telling what he could have done. He could have demolished several more records. If he hadn't had games cancelled two years in a more he'd break more records.

Is Miles responsible for all the awards Matthieu, Peterson, etc won....Miles is gone. Get over it. Do we have to hear whining about Miles, like the crying over Saban? Sounds like retarDATS crying

Miles did not cost this team a chance at the college football playoffs. If LSU wins out, they'll be in. The committee will take into account the coaching change. Losing to the #11 Badgers and #15 Auburn by a combined 7 points won't look as bad after a coaching change if we win out against #1, #14, #9, and then #14 again. If you don't think winning those games gets the Tigers from 19th to 4th, you probably shouldn't be posting. The one caveat I'll add is *if* Fournette is healthy, they'd put us in. There's a lot more losing in store for those top teams, and I think there are some coming for LSU too, but if they do win out, they'll be in.
