Fournette always put up great numbers, but I think we saw Saturday the way he always should have been. Miles lined him up and gave it to him 20 times a game whenever the defense knew exactly what was coming 18 of those 20 times. Ole Miss was forced to respect the pass and we were able to run the ball with ease.

Fournette is a once in a generation type back. He should have smashed every record possoble, as well as take home tons of hardware. He carried les to multiple victories, but seeing this last game (and the previous games with guice), just continues to show how much this offense was hand cuffed.

Absolutely. Miles had the greatest weapon in college football and constantly ran him into a 9 and 10 man box.

I'm more irritated he cost this year's team a chance at the playoffs.

He may have but honestly I don't think it's that big of a deal to him. It's a trophy and prestigious at that but it isn't like LF7 isn't going to make millions and be successful in the NFL.

I'm sure LF7 is as well. These guys want to win football games. Individual awards are meaningless when your team strives for championships and falls short because of stubborn arse coaching.

Say he has a many more 200+ 2TD games one of which is Bama. , with a couple more highlight runovers.

Does he get one based on his November play and this without the season stats?

He was always going to make millions and millions in the NFL. No matter where he went, no matter what he did in college. I'm sure he had plenty of goals while in college and les miles single handily crushed those goals.

If he was at bama, it's hard to argue he wouldn't have won.

This. And really, I think missing a couple games with injury hurt him more. He was still putting up crazy numbers (Bama game aside) running into brick walls.

Ok, so what move did LF do immediately after he scored his first touch down at Tiger Stadium. Hint it wasn't the running man, shopping trolley or the Moon walk.

He crushed the Heisman goal absolutely but I think his main goal was always an SEC and national championship not an individual award.

Yes I agree, Miles probably cost him those as well but that's not what this thread is asking.

The playoffs are still very much alive if LSU wins out and Auburn drops another SEC game (still have road games vs Ole Miss and Alabama). As long as the Big 12 champion isn't undefeated, LSU should be able to get in as a 2 loss SEC champ, especially considering the end of season strength of schedule and turnaround under new coach.

I've never been an Oklahoma fan, but I'm pulling hard for OU the rest of the way. They have 2 losses but both non-conference, so they're still in control of their own destiny to win Big 12...if their defense can stop anyone.

Without a doubt. He killed LF's chances with that horrible, disgustingly predictable bullshite offense. It is a crime.
