re: Backpack recommendations for month-long trip

I went with the Osprey Far point 55. It has a day pack which is good for daily travels, and the big pack has gotten into every overhead that isn't some small arse shuttle plane. In fact, I'm sitting with both right now at the airport.

So far so good. If you pack right, just do laundry from time to time.

Have fun on the trip. I've done Thailand and Cambodia but Vietnam looks great too.
