They'll slap the title of doctor on anything these days. Makes a lot of people over confident in their abilities, and lures patients into a false sense of security.

I blame it on MDs. They shouldn't have borrowed the title from academia. Now everyone wants to have the title "doctor."

i've used one for a pinched nerve that was not getting better, and it took care of the problem with no lingering effects ... did not involve any violent, twisting neck adjustment ... just repeated electrical stimulation and general pressure massage with whatever the thing is called ... would never allow one to do the neck thing ...

In europe Doctor means professor, and an MD isn't a Doctor unless he's also a PhD.
