Coors used to be a big deal because you couldn't get it West of the Mississippi. The whole story line of Smokey and the Bandit was about making a beer run for some Coors. Kind of the same thing as far as supply and demand.

Now people make runs to Colorado for other things.

It was the other way around. You couldnt get it east of the MS River

Do you mean east of the Mississippi? Coors brewed in Colorado; fairly easy to get it WEST. I remember not being able to get it in LA when I was younger & of course we all wanted it more. Not a flame, sincere question?
