ESPN announced before the season that some games would not have on site announcers. I think this was the case at LSU-USM game.

At the half, they posed in front of a piece of artwork backdrop and both of them looked like they had just gotten dressed and had makeup...no sweating on a hot night. They made no reference to the stadium atmosphere. They were in a studio in Charlotte.

They had crowd noise piped in and sideline reporter on site. No shots in booth. No voice straining to get over crowd noise. No mention of having been in BTR or at LSU practice this week nor any good quotes from Bebe.

Yes. Herby has done it several times this year. I wasn't at the game Saturday, but watched it. The crowd noise on the SEC Network sounded terrible. I was hoping it was because of the remote announcers.

That Cal/Hawaii game from Australia when they initially tried it was terrible

I know ESPN does it for the radio broadcast of the World Cup. I remember them having the announcer as a guest in studio on a show like 30 minutes after a game he called

They were at TS. That TS backdrop was hanging up in the pressbox.

I got tired of watching the alumni band at the half, so I took my father's binoculars to look up there to see who was announcing the game.
