So by that logic, Eli must be the Greatest, since he beat Brady twice.

Come on man, you were rolling until you tried to say Manning only got 2 Super Bowls because he faced two crappy QBs. I mean, look at who he had to go through to win those 2. He had to beat Brady to get to 3 of his 4 Super Bowl appearances.

When Eli gets into January, he wins. That means something.

Since 2005, Brady has had a potential Super Bowl championship season derailed by a Manning FIVE TIMES. That's gonna also keep him from being in the same conversation with Graham and Starr. And I don't give a shite that about his abilities as a passer are superior. He had the far superior team TWICE against Eli and he's 0-2.

Eli took two VERY flawed teams to championships. But Marino couldn't overcome his defenses even one time? GTFO with that. Marino had a rematch with the '85 Bears and could have won, but he couldn't beat maybe the worst team to ever reach a Super Bowl (The Patriots). That ABSOLUTELY should mean something.

You're making a pretty common mistake of pitting two QBs in a head to head argument. But they don't play against each other, so it's not really making a point.

I have no problem using Super Bowl wins or what ever people feel the need to use when talking about "the greatest" anything. Let's face it, except for a couple of positions in sports, you are splitting hairs either way. The line is absurdly thin between 1 and 5 in most cases.
