Looked bad against Navy and lost. Almost lost to Tulsa today. Team looks different. These are all tell tale signs that the coach is leaving. He knows it and the players sense it so everyone loses focus. He's gone. If Notre Dame fires Brian Kelly then Tom Herman goes there. If not he goes to LSU. IMHO.

Why would he go to ND. Honest question.

The talent level and recruiting is not even comparable any more. ND is past its prime.

He isn't going to Norte Dame. I think he'd stay at Houston before he went to ND

Anything is possible, but I would be much more concerned about him picking Texas or USC over LSU. Notre Dame is just a harder place to succeed.

PJ Fleck seems like a great fit for Notre Dame. Herman is going to LSU or Texas. I'm giving LSU the edge because Texas is such a dumpster fire with that shite defense.

Herman aint coming here. Literally has no ties to here. If he stays in college ball, USCw and/or Oregon. I think he'll probably give NFL a shot before coming to LSU.

He doesn't have any ties to Oregon either. And why is it such a forgone conclusion that he is interested in the NFL?

Some guys are college coaches, some guys are NFL coaches, fewer are both. Herman has been a coach for almost 20 years and hasn't spent a single season at the pro level.

All the rumors here on Houston radio is that his camp is saying he wants the USC/w job, both him and his wife are from SoCal. He would take UT job as well before LSU...

I prefer LSU go after someone that wants to be in BR.

USC has now won 3 in a row. they have Cal, Oregon, UW, UCLA, ND left, so Helton could very well finish out 7-1. his loses would be to Bama (in Dallas), @ Stanford, @ Utah (by 4), and @ UW. they're not gonna fire a first year coach, their 3rd in 6 years, after that. what coach would want to walk into a program like that?

Texas has A MASSIVE AMOUNT of internal issues. they are a 10+ in every category a program could ever dream of, but the politics and behind the scenes drama have kept them from their true potential for decades. thats not gonna change now. Let Herman ask his friend Herbstriet what he thinks about that job.

Notre Dame is the same. the specifics are different but they have the same general issues as Texas. its Urbans stated dream job, and he spurned them for Florida. that says a lot.

Oregon is historically VERY patient. if anything they'd go back after Chip.

if we go after Herman, we are in a fantastic position.

Tom Herman is not going to Notre Dame. If he did though, and convinced Kizer to stay one more year, the kid may win the Heisman.

Know how I know you've hardly watched Houston play before this year?

Well of course Orgeron wants to coach here. He isn't going to get a better gig.
