You have to understand Herman is playing with NO WHERE near the talent LSU has and he's STILL winning against big programs.

Herman aint coming here. Literally has no ties to here. If he stays in college ball, USCw and/or Oregon. I think he'll probably give NFL a shot before coming to LSU.

He's been a HC at a mid-tier conference for a total of around 24 games....he lost to a service academy and was a nut hair away from losing to Tulsa...

Herman is not ready for the SEC

that would be the best case scenerio for LSU is for Herman to lose out and for other teams to lose interest and think he is not ready for the big time. Would virtually assure we could land himn in that situation.

Just remember : Herman plus LSU equals dynasty. He could be the Saban slayer, the Meyer mauler, the Harbaugh head smasher.

Herman has pulled ONE...5* recruit, Ed Oliver and that is because Herman hired the HC of the kids HS to be the TE coach at UH...

Pass on Herman...

Guess we'll see. His offense/teams have beaten Alabama, Florida state and Oklahoma. Not bad right?

In his first year and went toe to toe with LSU for him. If you remember. Herman is the next "urban" without the sleaze.

All the rumors here on Houston radio is that his camp is saying he wants the USC/w job, both him and his wife are from SoCal. He would take UT job as well before LSU... I prefer LSU go after someone that wants to be in BR.

I've also heard that they don't want to raise their kids in Cali. However, I think Herman is a longshot for LSUT.

Herman is all LSU provided we go after him with only Texas throwing a monkey wrench in the plans. ND is where coaches go to die. Look at the last three they have had.

Les had two.. 07 and 12. Look where he is now. 2012 Kelly/ND was lucky and never should have been in a NC Game.

Um...you know he coaches at Houston right? Not exactly a bunch of 5 stars knocking down the door.

What's that matter? You can only win the games you play.

To say a place is where a HC goes to die means the deck is stacked against him, no shot at winning ect. LSU nor ND fits that bill.

I'm sure FSU fans said the same about Jimbo and his coaching record prior. Oh wait he didn't have a coaching record prior to FSU.

did you read WHY he went to UH?? It was basically a family affair with his HS HC getting a job at UH..

it wasnt because Herman was a monster recruiter you silly bitch

So Herman got that kid the same way Johnny Jones got Ben Simmons. What of it? It's recruiting, you use whatever pitch you can that will work.
