I'll give you the perfect example. There was a multi-page thread on here about " what car would you buy if you had $50,000?" The OT had two responses that were the overwhelming majority - a used 911 or Vette. It wasn't close with any other cars. Those were easily the 2 front runners.
Shortly thereafter, I happened to purchase a 911 Carrera with 23K miles for $55K. Suddenly, that was the douchiest car on the planet.
I kept it a year and traded it in on a new '15 Vette. The response? Suddenly, it was the douchiest car on the planet.
You can't make this stuff up. Most of the people here are brokeass college students and LSU flunkies. Two things rule Tigerdroppings: LSU football (thus Bama-envy) and rampant jealousy. it's fun to rub it in their faces, then sit back and enjoy the chaos though.
