Here's the thing: The higher skill and better coaching in the NFL makes the crazy random and chaotic plays/finishes we see every week in CFB less likely. Teams are less likely to blow big leads, less likely to give up lateral/Hail Mary plays, less likely to give up HUGE chunks in prevent defenses late in games, etc.

College football is crazy because college kids screw up more than professionals.

Unless you have a good/great qb in the NFL and have a solid offense, the talent level of NFL defenses is so good that there won't be much excitement.

While in cfb, even 2 average teams playing has a high chance of being entertaining and fun to watch cause defenses still frick up among other things such as coaching.

shite, LSU is a great example. Think of all the games over the years where we have had the most boring play calling and no QB that ended up being wild finishes with tons of fireworks

Another big factor to me is the rivalries. I know there are a few ones in the NFL but nothing like you see in cfb. I feel like between all my friends there are tons of different cfb teams that are represented. While there's 2, maybe 3 NFL teams between everybody
