Or they could have stepped in early last week instead of letting UF run with this shite show.

Or they could move the SECCG back a week and let UForfeit-LSU play then.

Or they could issue UForfeit what it deserves: a loss.

Or they could mandate that only division records will count this season.

They could have done a lot of shite, but they showed an absolute lack of leadership and let UF hold all the cards. Alleva was smart to come out and publicly say we aren't moving any home games from Baton Rouge. The time for reasonable accommodation was last week, and only one of the three parties involved was willing to do anything to play.

Alleva basically said, "No thanks" and punted this shite can back to UF and the SEC. Brilliant -- and I have never once said that about Alleva.

Hopefully Alleva has some good evidence he can threaten to release to the public showing that Foley was intentionally trying to avoid playing the game. Maybe that'll get the SEC to agree to rule it a forfeit to avoid that kind of PR black eye.

But I'd love to see the SEC state that only divisional records will count towards who plays in the title game. Florida will get what they deserve and Tennessee's only loss so far was A&M and only other team they should lose to is Bama. Tennessee already beat both FL and GA and would have to lose 2 games between S Carolina, Vandy, Kentucky or Mizzou.
