I'm thinking about planting some sort of rye mix on a few ROWs tomorrow. Am I too late. If not, what is the best mix for the price?
I'm Only planning on rifle hunting and wanted to see if I am too late at this point?
Is it worth it to plant in addition to my feeders, or should I just go with corn in feeders?

Big buck blend, 5 or 3 way blends from the co-op or local feed store will work. I'm in the same boat. It hasn't rained in SE Alabama in almost 3 weeks with none forecasted in the foreseeable future. I won't plant until the day before it rains. It's not too late so don't sweat it.
I'm also throwing out some Biologic Hotspot near my stand. It worked really well last year and it's easy to plant. No equipment needed. Other than a rake.

Not Late a all. Hasn't rained in a month in MS.

We are just now planting this weekend for rifle season. It's really dry where we are at too, so ideally would like to see some rain this week. I would definitely plant in addition to the feeders. Any rye mix will work. Buck buster is pretty popular.

i like buck buster seed mix. Its mostly wheat, oats, peas, with elbon rye, clover, and some brassicas.
It comes up really quick.
