SRV's version is superior in every way from guitar tone, production value, musicianship, aggressiveness. It's tough to give him the nod over Jimi since Jimi's version is a lot more raw and SRV's version is perfect. I'd go JH on this one. Now, Little Wing is SRV all day everyday and it's not even close. There comes a point where SRV is just such a vastly superior player that you cant do anything but give him the nod.

As I said in a similar thread a while back, Hendrix was revolutionary, SRV was evolutionary. Jimi was out there where the buses don't run, while SRV stood on Jimi's shoulders.
