Losing Miles was just the excuse he needed to go to Bama. If he really wanted LSU he would have let things play out.

bugafor6 Bingo!!! If he wanted to be a tiger he wouldn't have de-committed in the first place. It's always a sting when a homegrown Louisiana player commit's out of state. But, as we all realized Saturday, coaches are just as, if not actually more, important than one player. From what I understood he de-committed to check out other schools and enjoy the recruiting process. Well, if that's the case, then why commit to Alabama before he has experienced the process like he said. Doesn't make sense, except, as you said, he was going to commit and sign with Alabama any way and just used this as an excuse. I don't know who the next full-time coach will be, but whomever it is had better get this BS straightened out and start beating Alabama again like we've done in the past. No. I don't mean every year (though why not, if he gets the players like he should, then why the hell not beat them like they've beaten us. Just need a coach who can coach) There's as much talent on LSU's team as any team in the nation, why can't the next coach start beating Alabama and win multiple NC's? As far as Moses is concerned, LSU will sign a three star who wants to play for LSU and will be better than Moses.

how much of this was caused by the media? when both schools offered him at 14 he instantly became a Miles/Saban competition? who was going to land the kid.

he was pushed into this situation and now he is being attacked because the coach that offered first was fired? any gripes against the kids just doesnt seem fair.

the media made a spektical our of his recruitment. which clearly is different from the average recruit these days.

go and read the articles on google. It was a competition to win his commitment by both LSU and Bama from the very beginning. and his recruitment played out in the media as a two school competition.
