Sorry if germans.

“It was a little weird, honestly,” said tight end Colin Jeter. “It was the first time I had felt that fresh in a while. The team was excited and juiced, and everyone’s legs felt right. So we were energized and had a fun time.”

I would like to see how our current practices line up with the rest of the country

I would bet those HUNH teams do the same thing as us

I talk to a former player all the time and he said practices at LSU with Miles were much harder than any NFL practice he participated in. He said they were always wore out come game day.

You guys do realize that Jerry DiNardo did the exact same thing. He wore their asses out in practice and they played tired on Saturdays.

Miles and DiNardo are close friends who coached together at Colorado.

Makes it all the more impressive that LSU had a higher point total and a higher point differential in the 2nd half than the 1st half during Miles's tenure.

I recall Laron telling me Saban was much harder on them than Miles. But that could mean something diff. It's funny though, the narrative has always been Miles was soft and us a friend to the player.

Idk, how does it explain 2011 though. The whole, players really getting after it because they opened with Oregon and busting arse. Maybe as the years go buy these younger kids don't respond to that.

Less time on the practice field is refreshing for the guys, both mentally and physically. The first thing that goes when you get tired is your mind. These players were so mentally exhausted by Saturday, that's probably why we had so many penalties and other mental mistakes.

If miles really run 80 plays per practice ~ 5 games per week, no wonder our team was flat
