Yeah, I would go with Briles. Winning would make all that Baylor stuff go away, and his past wouldn't keep him out the playoffs... only losing would.

Does winning really make all the sexual assault go away? I mean, really, does it? All of yall that want Briles can also rot in hell.

I watch football to see my team win, I don't give a damn about what happened in TX. I don't care what the public perception is, because it WILL change as soon as we start winning. I hold the rapist responsible for their actions,I don't remember Briles assaulting anyone. Get off your high horse LA already has a reputation as one of the most corrupt states in the country might as well run wit it.

You should hold folks responsible for allowing rapists to get away with it. There are things that are bigger than football and winning and this is one of them. You are on the verge of being the very definition of a terrible human being.

Well, there's the difference... I actually do believe the higher ups forced a cover up, and are now using him as a scapegoat, you don't... so be it. And dude you might as well stop attempting to address my character, an anonymous posters opinion of me carries absolutely no weight.

You can't cover that shite up and if you assist the higher ups in a cover up, you are still morally culpable.
As for addressing your character, you basically said winning football games was more important to you than protecting women from sexual assault so regardless of me being some anonymous poster, that objectively makes you a pretty horrible human being.

Whatever dude, not going back and forth I'd rather Briles over the other guys mentioned.

I would have to disagree that he only kept quiet because of his boss. Ultimately, he and other football staff handled these rape allegations directly , and didn't report any of it to the proper outlets. That's why he was fired. That's not proper protocol.
That's exactly why you fault the guy. This is not legal. You can't just divert rape cases and handle them internally. Football coaches/administration are not judge and jury. These instances need to be reported to outside departments, at a minimum. More likely, they should have let the police investigate the accusations.
Really? Every head coach covers up or shush rape cases? I don't believe that. Let's just assume that statement is true, does that make it ok to hire Briles? Should we go ahead and get Sandusky out of jail and on the staff while we are at it? I just can't understand this logic.

if you dont think that that stuff happens in every head football coaches office in america you are sadly mistaken
