In 2015 there were an average of 54 passengers per day, each way flying from MSY to one of the four London airports. (per U.S. DOT DB1B Survey) Even if they were heavily skewed to business travelers that is not enough to support a route.
As mentioned above, a package tour operator like Thomas Cook or Monarch would be an option (like Condor will do to FRA). In fact, Thomson will operate a few charters this winter. This type of service operating once or twice weekly during part of the year would be sustainable.
