It just reeks of Miles trying to over coach.
Maybe, but I think it might be the opposite. I think he's lost some excitement out there and hasn't displayed that killer instinct like he has in the past.

Maybe the pressure was getting to him so he said "frick it". I don't know, but he just hasn't looked the same to me in awhile.

THIS! I agree. Miles lost his fire. That and he seemed to accept mediocrity. In one of the player interviews about Mondays Practice, one of the players.... can't remember, but he said that Coach O was so much more vocal, yelling at players and stated that was different then CLM, who never yelled at practice.

I think that this was the biggest part of it. Not necessarily that he said "frick it" but that the pressure/stress was certainly taking its toll and he was no longer to get excited or motivated himself so he wasn't able to do this effectively for his team. Nothing he tried to do was working so he was probably getting frustrated at himself for not being able to figure out why. Don't get me wrong, he was being well paid to deal with the pressure and still figure it out but maybe it he had just gone as far as he could go but after seeing his coaching style for so many years, I very highly doubt that it was just that he didn't care anymore.
