Hell, I would tell him to take the 210 just to avoid that deplorable monstrosity they call a "bridge" on I-10 over the lake. I drive that drive often and always wonder when that thing will come crashing down.

I hate that bridge. I find myself taking the "scenic" route because of the "scenery" and not because that bridge scares the hell out of me.

This shitty part of this is that the 210 has parts of the span actually breaking off and falling in the lake. It is why they are shutting it down next year to replace both the east and west spans of the bridge.
Crazy eh?
