Home and home? Or neutral site with the Nichols side being at Gravois Park in vacherie, home of the Vacherie Rams?

This game will be played at LSU.

quote:

Nicholls second-year head coach Tim Rebowe said having a game in Baton Rouge is huge for his program. “We’ve never been to Baton Rouge and some of the other (Football Championship Subdivision) teams in our state have played there,” Rebowe said.

“I know Southeastern (Louisiana) will get to go there, we will get to go there and it is big for us. It is good for the whole state when you can get a game between Nicholls and LSU.”

Nicholls will also play at Tulane in 2018 and that will be the first-ever meeting between the two football programs.

Just gonna leave these here

LINK

Arkansas 73 Nicholls State 7

LINK

(Division II) Henderson State 27 Nicholls State 10

I mean Division II - not FCS like a North Dakota State. Henderson State is a small school out of Arkadelphia, Arkansas with only about 4000 students. You've probably driven past it going to games vs Arkansas without really realizing it

This is just insane to me

I don't like it, but everyone else does it, Mizzou hosted the power house Delaware State last week

I think it's stupid we don't play all the in state schools. Why give Jacksonville state the money. Give it to Nichols and southeastern. It also gives a bunch of Louisiana kids a chance to play in Tiger Stadium.

If you're going to play rent a wins, it might as well be in state schools.

DUMB, I am sick of these bloated schedules with the rent a wins. Drop these games.
