dude that was 2 minutes from my house in West U, Im out of town right now but O My God, thats such a good area, there's never any violent crime. I shop at that randalls in the shopping center. Apparently he was shooting at random cars, holy cow, the chron.com site doesnt really have details now but wow I drive that road every morning to work.

Fox has very few details. Shooter downed by HPD. Up to seven people shot. No conditions known. Weird how few details are out.

Last I saw was it is a black man with a revolver who was shot and taken into custody. Six people have been hospitalized. Seven reportedly shot (unsure as to why there are seven shot and only six hospitalized). Weslayan and Bissonnett are obviously closed in that area for some time.
