You officiated high school and felt that was even worth mentioning when we're discussing NF fricking L.

Do I really need to explain how that comment was relevant as a response? Are you really that special? I've been on the field for HS games, LSU games, and Saints games. Try using that thick head of yours.

But way to realize how fast the game moves and the difficulties of officiating. Must be from your NFL officiating experience.

Way to ignore the rest of the post too, you know the part where you provided a contradiction and unknowingly answered your own question

Derp

Here's another question, since I answered yours:

What other penalties can be 40+ yards?

Simple question.

QB drops back and throws it to where the WR is supposed to be. Prior to the ball being in the air, the CB gets beat and holds the WR. Due to the hold, the WR can't get to the ball. Ball lands incomplete 50 yards downfield.

Should the offense get the ball where the ball lands?

ETA: Whether the foul occurs at the LOS or 50 yards downfield, the result is the same. The CB illegally prevented the WR from catching the ball. However, in one scenario, it's a 5 yard penalty. In the other scenario, it's a 50 yard penalty.
