How long before Jordan Howard takes the lead-back role? -- @jbrobinson
That’s a really good question. Howard showed real promise in the preseason finale against the Browns, and I thought he provided a spark -- even if brief -- Monday night in the loss to the Eagles. The one thing Howard has done in limited playing time is show that he can catch the ball out of the backfield; that’s a real plus. I would not be surprised if Howard sees his role grow soon. Ka’Deem Carey can’t seem to stay healthy -- he was sidelined with a hamstring injury Monday night. I’d like to see Howard get 12 or more carries against the Cowboys and see how he does.
Something to monitor if you're desperate for RB help or just progressive in adding guys like this (idk who you should drop for him, just putting this out there)

I'd give Langford another 2 weeks before Howard gets the job.

I own Langford in one league. Would like to add Howard, but don't know who I'd drop.
QB: Big Ben, Eli
RB: Miller, AP, Ingram, Langford, Michael, McKinnon
WR: Hopkins, Dez, Floyd, Sanu, Sharpe, Michael Thomas
TE: None (this league doesn't require one)

I have two IR spots, so this didn't even require a drop. It did require someone else not already owning him. Sigh.
CAP time.

What about Raheem Mostert?

I've been eyeing him and Kenyan Drake but picked up Washington. I was thinking of dropping Moncrief for Howard since I don't expect Moncrief back until after his bye week and can really use help at RB but after reading your post on another person's topic about Washington I can't help but reconsider my options. "after diving into some tape, he reminds me somewhat of felix jones."
That's a scary comparison.

ameer is on IR so I took this guy once he cleared waivers
if gyno is talking about him, that can't be bad. not like i'm starting the guy or anything but I need options in case matt forte breaks down from the enormous load he's getting
