Trade anyone with a pulse that isn't a key player (Cooks, Armstead, Vaccaro, Breaux, etc.).
Fire everyone on the Defensive staff, Special teams.
Fire Loomis and everyone in the Front Office.
Bring in the new Regime and build through the draft. It will take time but we can do it

It was assumed that you keep draft picks like Rankins, Thomas, Bell

Right but your saying you want everyone gone, save maybe 4-5 players, and fire every FO person and coach besides SP?

If CSP has a competent front office he'd be a lot better. Loomis is hot garbage and puts trash on the field every year

The Saints could EASILY be 2-0 right now, but some bad luck and a couple of meltdowns have derailed that.
Game 1: Refs effed us that last drive, but that doesn't give the defense a pass for not getting any key stops late. Defense needed to step up in game 2...
Game 2: Defense stepped it up BIG TIME! Gave up zero TDs. If Fleener could catch and our special teams doesn't allow a TD we win that game by double digits.
This team is not far off. I know everyone likes to jump off cliffs, but we need to maybe relax. We are headed to a 7-9 type season, but we will be competitive and if we can get some luck could possibly wind up getting hot.
We lost the first 2 games by a combined 4 points and had the lead or tied in the last minute of both games. Relax.

You're not wrong, but I kind of think bad teams find ways to lose games and that's what I think has happened so far. Depends on how you see things

really a versatile backup OL making 1.1M is the type of roster overhaul needed?
say what you want about strief getting old but he's earned 5 times every nickel the saints have ever paid him. he'll get replaced soon enough but 3.7M for a starting RT that is still making very few mistakes is bargain shopping.
