Miles has frustrated many of us over the years but overall he's been a great coach. Last several years we've been on a down slide. In the sec that's not acceptable. I get it. But he deserves a chance to turn it around. The players deserve us to get behind them and the coaches. We've got another lights out recruiting class this time with a super talented qb who will fit in a pro system to follow etling. Cameron went and got danny because he knew Harris may not be the answer. Etling will allow cam to open things up and if the offense keeps Gettn better and the D turns out to be elite like I think we may still have a damn good season. If we lose 3-4 maybe it's time to retire but if we win 10-11 he may have some left in the tank. Either way we seem to have qb answer for this year and next. I'm gonna enjoy college football and hope our team wins a lot. This may be a year where a lot of teams have a few losses so we might survive a week 1 loss. We have the talent to best anyone in the sec.

Everyone said he deserved a chance last year at the end of the season to right the ship. You saw how Lambeau turned out. If he is to stubborn to learn a lesson to change his ways after 1-9-12 then he loses all respect and any chance to right the ship in the future. He has had5 years to fix it and has to wait until he's almost fired to do so. Why do you feel sympathy for someone like that? The fans didn't make him 1 dimensional, his poor QB recruiting and philosophy did. The fans didn't deplete the front 7, his inability to hold Chavis and Hailey accountable on the recruiting trail did.

Miles has no vision to build a program. He holds on to bad choices until the heat is turned up so high that he is forced to make a change. All of those bad decisions have kept us from competing in the west for 5 years now. Why does he deserve any sympathy, respect or 10th chances?

Thanks for joining us today, Les. Spend less time on Tigerdroppings and more time coaching.

I'm behind the team 1000%. Miles not so much. He has had ample chances to leave the offense alone and let his coordinators do their jobs. In fact , I'm behind the coaching staff also, with the exception of BDP. I love the staff and think they are some of the best out there, but I do believe some have gotten lax on doing their best to insure we put the best product on the field with the talent we have here. I would love for this team to put things together and bring the fear back to LSU

How many years in a row can you possibly say this without feeling like a psychopath?

Soo what about the past 4 seasons with 3 losses?

Everyone is behind the team. Everyone.

Few are behind Miles and he's worth millions so my sympathy ends quickly.

I agree but I also agree he's got this year to do it. i'm sorry it came to that but a lot of it is his own fault.

IF, and that's a big if, this team gels before losing a coupla more games the team does have the talent to win a lot. we're 3 games in and the team has mostly "cleaned up" it's incompetence in several areas but still not hitting on enough cylinders to be good enough to beat a number of teams on our schedule.

this team needs the discipline to not have costly penalties, drops and fumbles. they can't win by getting shut out in the second half.

That's what 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 were for. How many chances does he "deserve"?

I hope he will be that gracious about it, but we will likely find out.

10-11 in the regular season? Or with a mid-tier bowl win and a finish around 15th or so in the final polls? 10-2 or 11-1 in the regular season would probably be enough for him to keep his job. 9-3 and then winning a Florida bowl may not.

great recruiter, but not so good coach [x's and o's]
clock manager, etc. The game has evolved and past him up a long time ago.
