Here's a look at some raw footage without any enhancements. Really, really impressive.

Just watching that makes me want to wash sand out of my eyes and crevices.

That second to last shot is insane. Am i wrong or was there a person driving that first rig that flipped?
If there was then "Holy shite!"

Each time I see that movie I appreciate the awesomeness of it even more.

I had a short film idea that spoofed Pirates of the Caribbean, and it was called Pirates of the Carpark.
These guys would get together after work and play a game of tag with cars and tennis balls.
And the action would look a lot like the shots that Romero composed here. So it was fun watching my lazy attempt at a film idea sort of have a little life.

Congrats on getting your movie made.

I just don't understand some people. It was everything you want an action movie to be. The day we get a black and white silent cut is the next day I will cry tears of joy.

george lucas: you know you can do that all in the computer, right?

No they get all the credit. It is just fun to see how a mechanic for a part of a lazy idea I had might look like on film.

Same here. Was so disappointed that it wasn't on the bluray

You know what is sad?
You can buy this on BluRay from Amazon for $13-$14, but the digital version from Amazon is $20.

I generally get the Blu-ray with the digital code inside

Goes to show you how much work is done in post production too. I don't know if John Q moviegoer knows how integral and difficult editing, color grading, music, etc, are to making a something look cinematic an unique.
The actual shooting is the fun part, the work really begins after that.

Sounds pretty dumb but that's accomplished as easily as turning the color and sound of your TV.

Great movie. Loved everything. Theron was great, Hardy was great, the entire thing was just brilliant. I've never even seen the Mel Gibson versions.
