Don't think so at all...I think its more of the fact that if he doesn't start promoting "his" guys and keep bringing in new, they will get frustrated and look to go elsewhere. Don't panic, if he hires someone within that means he has complete faith in them.

Belowpar, I still think he hires from outside....if he were to be a "promote from within" kind of guy, I would expect to have seen that when he hired the OC a year ago.

They need to go elsewhere if they want a promotion. Generally speaking, promotion from within sucks. It's the Peter Principle. People will always get promoted to their personal level of incompetence. I don't want to be running incompetence tests at LSU.
