How much is the difference in them firing him at the end of season than by firing him, let's say, midseason? He'll only get half of his salary if he's canned midseason so that's a bit over 2 mill.

If I remember correctly from last year, his buyout is offset by his salary during that year, so I'm not sure if there is any real difference financially by firing him in September vs. firing him in December. The only thing that I can't seem to find is what happens in 2017 with his buyout.

Why is this ignorance spewed incessantly??? Do you all really think his salary is only paid during the football season on a game-by-game basis???
