So...you were unhappy with the outcome, then?

At the end of the day, all I've ever cared about was winning games...not HOW we won games. So...even if they were ugly, the outcome was what mattered.

Keep in mind...people have been dooming and glooming his scheme for years on end, all the while he piled up wins. Think back to 2011...and you won't have to look too far to see fans bitching about how we were dominating teams. Had OSU been the opponent in the BCSNC instead of BAMA, he'd have almost certainly run his scheme to Title #2. Would we have hated that title?

Truth is...Miles way shows that there was more than one way to skin this cat. For a long while it WAS successful, even if not as exciting as some fans would have wanted. For a while now, it has not been and it's cost us dearly...

And as BHP stated, the reason you're seeing backlash now is that we were promised substantive change in the off season. That has clearly not happened, and a season with tons of promise looks to be as likely stagnant as the previous few when our offense struggles to move the ball against quality teams designed to stop it.

Suggesting that people were correct in bitching while LSU won games ugly is silly. For frick's sake...all coaches eventually run their course, even the best ones. Suggesting there was ALWAYS a problem and even the wins were tainted is such armchair coaching...and largely why it's been so hard to enjoy being a fan for svereal years now.

Are you conveniently forgetting just how bad Miles shite the bed on 1/9/12? Regardless of who the opponent was that day, that game plan was putrid.
We should have known something was bad when we barely had any offense in the SEC champ game, but our talent won that one.

Then why are you up in arms about the change you were allegedly promised not occurring, after just 1 loss? After Lsu wins this weekend, all will be right in the world, won't it?

Why are you worried about the possibilities of the season moving forward when, as you pointed out, this offense has yielded plenty of wins in the past? Les Miles' w/l record is still at 80% isn't it?

Usain Bolt's coach can decide to have him run the 100 meter running backwards and he just might be talented enough to win the race. That does not mean there is more than one way to skin the cat. It means that Usain Bolt's talent outweighed his coach's stupidity. Miles' coaching was a drag on the national championship team, only overcome by once in a millennia turnover production by Honey Badger, Flynn taking charge despite typical Miles end of game clusterfvck decision making against Auburn, and ridiculous luck in the BCS rating system. Given the landscape of college football during that time, Miles should have won multiple championships.
