That movie never loses it's power and impact.

I wish Gibson had done a trilogy of the Spanish Conquistadors...and the beginning of Part 2 is the ending of Apocalypto.

Or more Pre-Columbian stories - there's nothing really out there.

I've been begging for a movie like this for years. It's the type of movie I most want to see right now, especially after reading on the subject. It's amazing how Conquistadors were able to dominate tens of thousands with just dozens of men and, especially, a few dozen horses. They tore up some great cultures. And Apocalypto was sheer brilliance.
