I take chip cards, but NFC is where it's at. They tap their phone to my device and ding, I have their info. Money is in my account before I'm back in my truck.

The square chip readers seem to work faster than the Point Of Sale chip readers. Also chips never wear with use. Magstripes start to mess up after a few months or years of use.

Mine failed after a couple of months, card wouldn't read anywhere that had a chip reader, couldn't swipe it, couldn't just type the numbers in, would end up having to go get cash or go shop somewhere else until I got a new one.
