Thanks guys for the replies, I got the answers I needed.
Damn. AntiqueTiger the Ebay master for the win. Outside of the box. Lots of good looking ones for great prices. Still going to price getting it rewound, as I don't use used parts unless it's the only option.
I may bring it up to the man tomorrow. His is older than anything I see on Ebay but it looks like they used the same motor from 55-83.

I scoffed when I needed a part for a pre-70 Coke machine and a guy told me eBay. It wasn't that they didn't have the part, it was did I want new, rebuilt, old stock, what S/N range, which finish, etc. Unreal what you can find on there.
