Anyone rent out a home through a company?

Looking at moving and considering renting out my current home through a company so I don't have to deal with it being out of state. I am able to get a loan without selling my current home. A couple questions...
1. Who are some good companies to go through?
2. How much do they take from the rent payment?
3. Do they handle maintenance issues?
If I think of anymore questions, I'll post. Any other helpful tips are appreciated.
TIA.

A) interview as many as you can, I did not have a great experience, wasn't terrible either.
B) mine took 8%.
C) yes, above $250 they were supposed to call to get authorization. That's probably my biggest gripe.

10% of monthly rent for maintenance
