Non, but they base it off of usage still. How hard your engine worked etc. In any case, synthetic should last longer. So changing when the computer says means changing too often. If that's the case, I'll just switch to regular oil, but still change on computer recommendation.

Sure they do, just not solely on mileage. they take driving lengths into consideration (lots of long trips typically means longer intervals between changes). Of course, that varies depending on make and model. They may also take your assessment of driving conditions into account.
