I feel like the dealer would prefer you didn't pay cash. I'm sure there is incentive on the back end with banks fees interest rates and financing increases the likelihood u can buy gap and such at a probable markup

More like 100s or a check. Friend owns dealership and no way I'm financing. My dtr will be 16 soon so she will get older sons vehicle (which she doesn't want but I'm not buying 2 cars) so we're looking at a replacement for him.

The price they're asking is in the upper end of the range I'm seeing on KBB, Edmunds and Cars.com.
