re: Spinoff thread: Do you view the left lane as a passing lane on a city street?

I agree as well. Just curious on everyone's thoughts here as I notice people flying up behind me and tailgating when I am in the left lane driving over the speed limit. If I see someone coming up behind me at a faster speed than I am traveling I will get over if it is convenient but I damn sure want if they fly up on me.
