I know cubs fans have more experience dealing with let down seasons, but you're delusional if you don't think your fanbase wouldn't be reacting the same way if roles were reversed.
ETA Again, I think it's an overreaction and stupid, but let's face it, retaliation is probably going to happen because cards/cubs and baseball.

It happens all the time. Lee got hurt in 2006 by a collision with known idiot Rafael Furcal against the Dodgers. No Cardinal-esque blood feud ensued because that deranged philosophy doesn't actually take hold everywhere.

There is a group of Cubs fans that would do the same for sure. There's no denying it. I don't think you guys think like that, but it was fun to poke the ant hill.
