I thought I read about them on this board a few years ago but couldn't find the topic.

Yeah, we had one when I was growing up.

It's just a domestic cat without a tail.

Namesake is the Isle of Man. Off coast of England.

Island is known for the Manx TT road race.

One of my friends has one. It's huge, has no tail and is pretty chill. Check out savannah cats and highland lynx's, they're pretty cool too. I have a savannah and she's pretty badass.

I have one. It's like their hips are rotated forward. Two bumps above their hips, along their spine are more pronounced. They run almost like a rabbit. They have a tendency to hop.

Will kill everything. Squirrels? Dead. Rabbits? Dead. Rodents? Dead.

Other than that, they are pretty chill. Very friendly. Anyone comes to visit it will sit in their lap. Hangs out with the lab. Acts more like a dog than a cat.

When we got this one, and took it to the vet, the vet asked me for the cat or where I had gotten it. He needed another barn cat and had a Manx before that.

Cons: They HAVE to go out at night to hunt. Otherwise, they will keep you awake wanting interaction.
