So does this move Godchaux out to DE opposite Lewis Neal?

Godchaux and Neal at the DE spots gets me all hot and bothered.

Time to beat down Alabama this year boys, this team could on paper, man for man end up being one of the best rosters we have ever had. If we even get mediocre play from the QB position that ought to be good enough to get us into the playoffs, and hopefully jack some teams up.

A national championship is certainly not out of the question this year.

I don't know but G and N at DE is much better than L and N. I like L as a backup DE to spell G. One thing is for sure, the DL is DEEEEEEEEP.

I know he's only white, but LaCouture ain't sitting down unless he's tired.

He is either our best or second best dlineman. My prediction is that Valentine is our second string nose guard. He'll spell Godchaux, and in the beginning of the year that's all. As he gets in better shape he'll play 60% of the nose guard snaps, and Godchaux will start at nose, play 40% of the nose guard snaps, and spell LaCouture and Neal so we don't need to rely too much on Gilmore and freshmen.

He is not even close to our best defensive lineman. You are out of your mind if you think he is anywhere near Davon Godchaux.

I agree. People seem to forget how good Godchaux really is. He could end up being a top 10 pick.

The "Unicorn" has magically appeared....lol

I wish more LA players had the "want" to play for LSU that Valentine seems to have. Being a Florida native, I'm sure he could have gained an offer from any big time program like FU, FSU, Miami, or Bama...but he must bleed purple and gold.

What a BIG day for LSU and

Not to cast a shadow on this wonderful day, but what, if any, affect do y'all think this might have on Marvin Wilson's decision.

With the loss of Lacouture, Valentine's return is even more important.

If Valentine actually weighs 356 pounds as he is listed through the LSU Roster Link....

He's not getting on the field !
