Is there ever a situation in divorce where the woman doesnt get half your shite?

Buddy of mine's wife is a drug rep (yep, whore).
He figured out she was plowing some guy on the road so she is completely at fault.
But she is still getting half the shite even tough he makes about twice as much as her.
How is this shite fair? Theyve been married 5 years.

she gets "half" of whatever they accumulate in that time period (not ALL his shite), assuming there is no prenup
i don't think you CAN do anything to invalidate community property (i'll go ask Andie Carroll)
i'm assuming this is LA. in LA cheating basically just allows for a certain type of divorce and seals off permanent alimony

maybe, MAYBE temporary (if she's a drug rep i doubt she could get it) but if you cheat, permanent is off the table

They have 1 kid. 50/50 custody. He is paying child support, not sure about alimony

My ex-wife got the bed in the divorce because she needed a bed. I got everything else. So to answer your question, yeah, it can be done

Depends on the state. LA has community property. Not sure about the others. Get a good lawyer and ask.
