Dude,
No doubt. But I met a man yesterday that had lost 130 pounds (surgery) and had he not spoken to me...there was NO WAY IN HELL I would have believed he was my manager from a previous job 2 years ago.
But it was definitely him. Not only did it look like he lost weight..but he looked 3-5 inches shorter. And people I talked with after the fact said the same thing.
