Have fun and be safe. You should see all the gear my husband wears for downhill mountain biking(full helmet, lots of pads, etc). They rode some double diamond trails that he said was fun as hell and scary as hell at the same time.

My lift pass says you can take your bike on the gondola at heavenly this summer.
Edit-maybe it was for kirk wood or north star. I just checked my heavenly app and the summer pass doesn't say anything about bikes.
