Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will return to consoles on July 26, Marvel announced today at its San Diego Comic-Con panel.
The games will be available individually for $39.99 or together for $59.99. They will launch on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One concurrently. This will be the first time Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 has been available for Windows PC. Marvel promised that the new versions will feature graphic and UI enhancements.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance launched in 2006 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Wii, Xbox and Xbox 360; a sequel followed in 2009 on all of those platforms save Xbox and PC. The series is an action RPG featuring a cast of dozens (both player and NPC characters) drawn from the Marvel Universe.
The first game showcased more than 140 characters in an all-new story arc. The second followed Marvel Comics' then-new Civil War crossover storyline of July 2006 to January 2007, which was adapted into this May's Captain America: Civil War.

Mike Jones: We wanted these re-releases to be as faithful to the original Ultimate Alliance games as possible—the definitive versions. However, the team did work really hard on improving performance, some UI and graphic enhancements as well as making the games compatible with modern platform features on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. They play really smooth.

Yay, more games that should be BC, but instead we are having to rebuy.

$40 for the pair would've been an easy buy for me. Activision pricing can go frick itself.

Activision is the dirt worst

Not really. A lot of remasters release as bundle only for $60. This one at least gives you the option to get one of them.

I honestly don't know about that. I didn't pay 60 dollars for KH 1.5, KH 2.5, Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 HD, or The Last of Us Remastered. Halo Master Chief collection wasn't even $60.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance is 10 years old. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is 7 years old. Aside from a 1080p resolution, this combo pack doesn't add anything new to justify the $60 price tag.
Not I won't ever pick this up, but $60 is a bit steep. $40 for a single game surely is.

The following this game series has is unbelievable.

I'm pretty sure borderlands released at $60. I know some others have too. Personally I would set the price that high but I guess that stuff just doesn't bother me.

I think they have. Nathan Drake Collection released at $60. I don't know about Borderlands Collection. Even if, Nathan Drake was 3 games with UC4 Multiplayer beta. Borderlands was 3 games with all DLC.
Better value.

The 60 dollar tag isn't a big deal considering these games held value.
I remember this game still cost 44 bucks used years after it launched and netted about 20-25 in trade.

True but the value is subjective. Uncharted 4 was $60 but witcher 3 was $60 with a lot more content. You could argue better value but it really comes down to what you want.
Eta: oh and twilight princess hd sold for $60

Can't justify spending the 60 bucks when I just bought two used 360 versions a couple months back
Guess they read my thread about wanting 3 and decided to troll me and re-release the games I just bought instead

Ultimate alliance sucks. The second one is really good though

That is the opposite of what everyone else has said

Ultimate Alliance is what got me into marvel. IMO, it's one of the best superhero games ever made.

This made my morning, until I saw the price tag. $40 for both would have been perfect.
