The media didn't have to take any bait, they live for that shite and probably worked with Sony on how best to stir that huge pot of shite they have cooking at all times.

Yeah, because God forbid they actually put a movie out there worth a damn. Really they haven't put out a great movie since American Hustle (although 22 Jump Street may count). They've become so incompetent that they're having Disney help make a decent Spider-Man movie. The studio is entirely reliant on Sandler and Rogan now to make money for them. It's really sad.
