It is amazing to me that they don't just sell him to the talent-rich Dodgers for a ton of prospects. Having the best player is baseball and sucking for the next 4-5 years is not a good plan.

Had floated them all before, but not in succession lol.

They should have started rebuilding the moment they signed Trout to that long-term extension or after the 2014 season at the latest. Now it's too late. This is a long-term rebuilding job. If the Angels start rebuilding now, Trout will be a free agent before they can contend again.
