For all the NFL talks about concussions, there are not requirements on helmets. Go look at the models Tom Brady and Drew Brees wear. No different than a decade ago. They have rules about sock color but they don't care about the fricking helmet?

The thing that always gets me is the skinny/single strap chin strap Aaron Rodgers uses. To go along with the old model Ridell helmet. Shouldn't the NFL force him to change chi straps at least?

No because there's a theory and studies out there that it actually more secure.

If you noticed LSU and all of Boss' guys in mid 90's early 00's there teams always had low hooks on front they believed based on this study reduced helmets coming off.

I was opposite, much like a taped ankle higher the anchor better the support.

It was mandatory for OL and Dl have tops screwed in and we also made it mandatory to turn in hats after every Tuesday px for bladder checks.
