If this has been discussed, I apologize, but did it look like Hopper was looking at a large, recently cracked egg when they were in the Upside Down by Byers Castle? I thought it was, and I wonder if that will be more of a factor in season 2.
I know I am not the only one who sees that as the nod to the Alien franchise. That entire process:
Alien
ST
Alien

How was will able to communicate so precisely via the lights?
When sherrif and winona are in the upside down, we see that as they are inhabiting the same space as the real world, there is an energy that sets the lights off. As they walk though the upside down house, the lights in the real world house go off.
So how was will, who we know to either be hiding or incapacitated, able to point to specific lights on the wall corresponding to the letters?
