Be careful of price swings. just because those paper towels are 3.99 the fist time you click it does not mean that they will not be 18.99 the next time you click the button. That is a literal experience by the way, not an exaggeration. Very convenient, but just be wary. Those every day items do not always have consistent prices.

I look at them all the time but can't really determine how useful they would be. Most of my consistent needs from Amazon come on Subscribe and Save.

This is good advice for anything on Amazon. I've seen the price of a product change 2 or 3 times in one day. Not huge swings like you mentioned, but $1 or $2 swings over a span of just a few hours.
