I just started fishing Delacroix. I have been fishing for trout under the birds in Lake Campo in the late afternoon early evening . Bite has been getting good from 530 until sunset. Been using Double rigged Matrix Shad Shrimp creole (no cork). The area between sweetwater and lake campo is loaded with places to stop and fish for reds. Jack, the owner of sweetwater is a helpful guy and he will point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Ditto about Jack. He is very easy to talk to and gives great advice, unlike most guides. Father's Day we went out of Swwetwater. With Capt.bdave that works with Jack. Ran out to Black Bay and had a great time on trout sheep and reds.live shrimp under a cork near big compressor
